7th December -- Frodsham, Cheshire
Another good walking day out in Frodsham, cloudy but no rain with the sun trying to break through at times and a short coach journey there and back using the new Mersey Bridge. A good choice of pubs and tea rooms finished the day off well.

The C walk headed out of Frodsham with quite a stiff climb up to Beacon Hill. From here the walk continued on southward before turning and meandering through fields towards the River Weaver. Then following the bank back to Frodsham avoiding the main road by taking the path around the back of Frodsham near to the marshes.

The B walk headed East, then onto the Eddisbury & North Cheshire Ways, bi-passing Beacon Hill through Snidley Wood to Helsby Hill. Returning along the ridge on the Sandstone trail with good views of the Mersey Estuary, Liverpool, N. Wales and the surrounding area.
